Your privacy is important to the SVSA. In order to better protect your privacy, we provide this notice explaining our online information practices including the way your information is collected and used. When you provide personal information at our site or via telephone, you are consenting to the manner in which the Senior Veterans Service Alliance (SVSA), seniorvets.org, and veteransaidbenefit.org will collect, use, disclose and otherwise manage your personal information, as set out below. This notice applies to all information collected or submitted on the SVSA (seniorvets.org and veteransaidbenefit.org) website. On some pages, you can order products, make requests, or register to join. The types of personal information collected at these pages are:

On some pages, you can submit information about your self or someone you are caring for. For example, if you are caring for a veteran and are searching for some one to help you, you will need to submit your (their) name, address, and basic needs. - Aging Circumstances and Needs
The Way We Use Information:
We use the information you provide about yourself when placing an order only to complete that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete that order.
We use the information you provide about yourself or someone else when requesting help or information to help you find a solution to your eldercare needs. We do not share this information with outside 3rd parties except to the extent necessary to complete that request.
The sole purpose of our request service on this website is to assist you in contacting people in your area who may be helpful to you. There is no charge to you for using this service. The Listing Providers, featured on this site, have agreed to abide by an ethical code of conduct. We hope that they or anyone else we refer you to will treat you in an honest, fair and equitable manner. However, it is up to you to determine for yourself the integrity, experience or capability of anyone we refer you to. The Senior Veterans Service Alliance is not responsible if your experience with any of our referrals is not satisfactory.
We use return email addresses to answer the emails we receive. Such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not given or sold to other entities except to the extent necessary to complete your request.
You can authorize our use of your email address if you would like to receive updates, monthly articles, or emails regarding our services. Without your authorization, we will not send you unsolicited emails unless the content has to do with any business relationship you have with us such as a listing service or a membership service.
Finally, we never use or share the personally identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.
Our Commitment To Data Security
To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.
Our Commitment To Children's Privacy
Protecting the privacy of the young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our website from those we actually know are minors, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone who is a minor.
How You Can Access or Correct Your Information
Individuals can view all personally identifiable information that we collect online and maintain by visiting veteransaidbenefit.org or seniorvets.org. We do not store Credit/Debit Card Information in our system. We use other third parties to provide payment processing on our site. When you order products or join our site, we will share payment information as necessary for the third party to provide that service. These third parties are prohibited from using your personally identifiable information for any other purpose.
Rest assured, the SVSA does not share, sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for promotional purposes. Again, we may share your requests with other organizations with the sole intent that your recieve help from an individual in your area who is likely qualified to do so.
If your personally identifiable information changes, you may correct or update it by making the change on our member information page by emailing info@veteransaidbenefit.org.
To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.
